Preparing for a Mui Ne jeep day from Ho Chi Minh City
For a group of four, the guide lists KRW 94,000 per person for round-trip private transport and a sightseeing jeep. A guide, ATV and meals are separate from this base option.
What are you booking from Ho Chi Minh City?
The basic tour links two different rides. A private vehicle picks up your group in Ho Chi Minh City, takes you to Mui Ne and brings you back. In Mui Ne you change to a private sightseeing jeep for the agreed route. The roadside sightseeing jeep and an off-road ride on the dunes are separate experiences. You can ask about a departure for two or more guests.
Per-person base prices by group size
The price guide checked on 29 September 2026 lists KRW 150,000 per person for two guests, KRW 114,000 for three, KRW 94,000 for four and KRW 99,000 for groups of five or more. Two to four guests use a seven-seat SUV and one private jeep. From five guests the listed combination is a 16-seat vehicle and one private jeep. Vehicle and jeep capacity still need to fit the actual passengers, guide and luggage.
Children, luggage and larger vehicles
The published age rule charges the adult rate from age five. Children aged four or under travel free under the base tour terms. Give the child’s age, suitcase sizes and quantities when asking for a quote. A Carnival, nine- to eleven-seat limousine or other upgrade has its own quote. A seat count alone does not tell you how many passengers fit with their bags.
Guide, photography and meals
You may take the basic tour without an on-site guide. The article listed this option at USD 100 per group, with language and availability to be confirmed. Professional photography was listed at USD 70 for up to ten people. Groups of eleven or more need a quote. A driver helping with a phone photo is different from booking a photographer. Meals, café stops and personal spending are paid separately.
Do you need an ATV at the White Sand Dunes?
No. The guide lists an optional ATV at VND 800,000 for one vehicle shared by two people. A desert off-road jeep is another separately quoted option. If travelling with a child, confirm the rules for sharing a vehicle and what is operating on the date. Seeing an ATV in a tour photo does not add it to the base price.
A sample day and which stops to choose
The sample leaves Ho Chi Minh City at 08:00, starts jeep sightseeing in Mui Ne at about 14:00 and returns to your accommodation around 22:30. There is time for meals, a café and breaks. The white or red dunes, coastal road, wind turbines, Fairy Stream and fishing village are possible stops. Pick the places that matter to your group. Traffic, weather and local operations may change both the order and the return time.
Starting at the airport or finishing before a flight
If you want to leave directly from the airport, plan around the flight’s local arrival time and your luggage. For a departure flight that evening, do not rely on the example return time. Discuss the airport transfer margin first. For older relatives or children, reserve time for breaks before adding activities.
