Mid-June, finally the long-awaited family trip!
Three families who are friends traveled to Ho Chi Minh City together for four days and three nights.
It's not easy to find a space that both kids and adults can enjoy, but Scat Villa was really the kind of place where I thought, 'This is it!'
🏡 The moment we arrived, our mouths dropped open at the courtyard and pool area
The first thing that caught my eye
✔ Medium-to-large size pool
✔ Pool fully equipped with tubes and life jackets
✔ Sitting at the romantic table by the poolside with a beer
The kids were completely immersed in the water while the adults relaxed on sunbeds, chatting leisurely. It was a real healing time. I thought to myself, 'In Korea, you can't even dream of such private pool!' 😄
🛋 Wide living room + wide kitchen = perfect setup for gathering together
✔ The layout where the living room and kitchen are in one space

✔ Best for cooking, eating, and chatting together as a group
We cooked a simple meal ourselves and had breakfast, then went to the mart (just a 1-minute walk away!) to buy snacks and drinks, filled the mini fridge in the minibar, and this combination of meal, snack, and chatting is really great!
🎤 The living-room karaoke setup had its own soundproofing. For our group, that made all the difference.

✔ We sang sitting on the plush sofa, sang lying down and got up to dance too.

It was a time when the kids were excited and adults experienced an emotional explosion… It was a night we'll never forget.

Each room is spacious and comfortable, so kids can run around without worry, and at night, they can quietly go to their rooms for a peaceful sleep!
📌 Our actual day routine went like this
✔ Morning – Terrace breakfast with baguette and fruit bought from the market
✔ Morning – Swimming in the pool / Adults have coffee time
✔ Lunch: we walked about ten minutes to a lamb restaurant we loved.
✔ Afternoon: visit a massage shop or take a nap back at the villa
✔ Evening – Requested BBQ and had a meat party
✔ In the evening, each family took a turn putting on a little karaoke concert. 🎶
✔ Wrap-up – Shared bread and snacks in the living room during chat time
📍 The location was excellent
✔ 1-minute walk – Supermarket
✔ 10-minute walk – A grilled pork specialty restaurant popular with locals
✔ 15-minute walk – Massage shop
✔ Right in front of the villa – A jazz bar with a romantic atmosphere
You don't need to go far by car; everything is within walking distance, making it easy to move around with the kids.
