Can everyone stay together at Scat Villa?
This group started with the layout: enough private bedrooms and a shared place to gather were separate concerns.
We're planning a trip with colleagues, is there a pool villa where we can all stay together?
I also need individual rooms, and a living room where we can all sit together and chat.
“A pool, karaoke and a barbecue would be the icing on the cake.”
This dilemma, we also thought exactly the same.
End of July, summer holiday season starts.
Seven people who have been working together for a long time gathered, and planned a four-day trip with each other to take a proper break from work.
But when we actually looked for accommodation, it wasn't as easy as we thought.
The first thing we thought about was how the accommodation was laid out.
I found that once there were six or more of us, even a pool villa would often run short of bedrooms, or the living room would be too small for everyone to sit together.
Especially if we're looking for a space where 'we can all play, eat and chat together', it had to be a place that satisfies the number of rooms, size of common areas and entertainment facilities.
After searching, I found this place right away. It's ITDANG, a Korean travel agency branch in Ho Chi Minh City that operates over 70 villas including its own brand and partner pool villas. I immediately consulted via KakaoTalk, and they recommended a pool villa that perfectly matched our team composition.

- Medium-to-large pool (with tube and life jacket available)
- Separate sound-insulated karaoke room with a Korean system and mirror ball.
- The barbecue service described includes ingredients, grilling and cleanup.
- Daily cleaning + towel change + amenity provision
- A grocery store a minute’s walk away, a favourite restaurant about ten minutes away, and a jazz bar across the road.
Even with just these features, I thought it would be 'perfect', but actually staying there, the satisfaction level was even higher than expected.
The points I was worried about were resolved like this
1. Can we all stay together?
There are 7 rooms, so whether you're a couple or single, you can comfortably use your own private space. The living room is spacious enough for 14 people to sit, so if you want a 'travel experience where you can be together but still feel comfortable', this layout is really important.
2. What is the entertainment like?
- Karaoke: a Korean system with a mirror ball and lights that respond to the sound and set the mood.
However, we were informed that even though there are soundproof facilities after 10 PM, we should still refrain from causing noise issues.
So we made the most of it between 8 and 10 pm and wrapped up then. - Swimming pool: Large and with a suitable depth, so swimming is fully possible.
Having swim rings and life jackets there meant we could pack a little lighter, too.
There were plenty of towels and toiletries after swimming, which made things easy. - BBQ: From preparing the ingredients, grilling the meat, to final cleaning, ITDANG handles everything.
We didn’t have to sweat by ourselves grilling meat; we could just "sit and eat" without any effort.
3. Is the location safe and convenient?
- 35 minutes by car to the airport / 15 minutes by car to the downtown of 1st district / 40 minutes by car to 7th district
- A supermarket is just a 1-minute walk away.
- Within a 5- to 10-minute walk, there are local seafood restaurants and eateries that locals queue for
- There’s a jazz bar opposite the villa. The atmosphere at night was lovely.
Above all, Thao Dien struck us as an upscale residential area with some of the most reliable infrastructure and public safety in Ho Chi Minh City. We felt at ease going out there by day and at night.
Our actual itinerary (Wednesday–Saturday, four days and three nights)
Wednesday: Arrive at the airport → arrive at Scat Villa by ITDANG vehicle, unpack luggage and do grocery shopping / walk to a seafood restaurant for dinner, then karaoke + terrace night view chat
Thursday: Morning cleaning + towel change, swimming, board games in the living room / afternoon visit to a sentimental café, dinner is BBQ time → karaoke until 9pm for the peak atmosphere
Friday: Wake up relaxed, then jazz bar brunch / walk around the nearby park, afternoon is personal time / dinner with delivery food for a laid-back vibe
Saturday: After tidying up, depart for the airport by ITDANG vehicle, wrap up neatly

Overall impressions
Can we have a trip where everyone is in the same space, without any inconvenience, and we can laugh all the way through?
It was possible at Scat Villa.
There was room to spread out, with elegant interiors, karaoke, a pool and a barbecue area. The location and security also mattered to us.
If you're considering a 'trip with others' whether it's friends and colleagues or a couple, I think there's no better choice than this.
