Vung Tau’s SB Villa: a stay with pool and karaoke

“It’s a family trip, but we’d like separate bedrooms.” “It would be great to have meals and a pool there too…”
“If there’s karaoke as well, that would be just right!”

For our two-day, one-night Vung Tau trip, the adults in our family group were in their forties. We built the trip around these very ideas.
SB Villa, in the urban area near Back Beach, was the place that ticked all those boxes for us.

As soon as we arrived: “Wow, it’s like having an entire hotel to ourselves…”
The reason why I was amazed at first, I'll now share it with you 😊

🏨 Is it a hotel or a pool villa… this combination is really unique

✔ Twelve guest rooms and thirteen bathrooms in total. All guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
✔ King-size beds and individual air conditioning in every guest room
✔ When booking alone, the entire first-floor lobby can be used as a common living room
✔ Breakfast included, with a spacious dining area
✔ Elevator is available, convenient for elderly and children

The rooms felt hotel-quality, and the layout gave us the privacy of a pool villa. What we loved most was having a space that felt entirely like our family’s own.

🏊 Medium-to-large outdoor pool = the perfect private healing spot

✔ Outdoor pool + sunbed setup
✔ Possible to start the day with a morning swim before breakfast
✔ Kids can play in the water, adults can rest on the terrace
✔ After swimming, wrap up in a beach towel and have a coffee under the parasol.

It was a place where you could feel like it's truly 'our private pool', not crowded like a hotel pool.
“This is so good. I just wish we had more than one day here!” We couldn’t help saying it.

Having breakfast included made more of a difference to our trip than we expected.

✔ Vietnamese-style rice noodles (pho), fruits, coffee, and simple breads included
✔ Neatly set up, and a warm breakfast area where we can start the day together
✔ A relaxed atmosphere where you can have breakfast even if you sleep in

Rather than being busy planning an outing from morning, the real travel is sitting around the dining table, enjoying coffee together.

🍖 For dinner, outdoor BBQ or a complete city dining course is perfectly arranged.

✔ BBQ can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace of the accommodation.
✔ Or take a car ride for 10 minutes to Phú Long Quán and try Cháo Bồ Câu (Pigeon Rice Porridge).
✔ Dessert is finished with Kem Bơ Sầu Riêng (A.Thành)’s Durian Avocado Ice Cream.

While enjoying the night view and laughing and chatting on the terrace, there comes a moment when you think, 'That's why we come on family trips.' 😢

🎤 A well-equipped karaoke corner in the living room.

✔ The soundproofing is also good,
✔ Speakers, a mirror ball, a large screen and a full lighting setup.
✔ Everyone from kids to parents can participate regardless of generation

“Dad, your turn!” “Mum, you have to sing one too!” With the room all to ourselves, we felt free to sing out loud and dance.

🛏 The rooms felt at least as comfortable as a hotel.

✔ Clean and sentimental interior design
✔ Cozy bedding, soft lighting
✔ A bathroom in each room meant we didn’t get in one another’s way.
✔ Ample space based on a 2-person-per-room standard

At a hotel you can have a lovely room but nowhere to spend time together. With pool villas we often ran short of bedrooms. This place felt like just the right balance between the two.

📍 What our two days and one night actually looked like

🗻 Morning – Arrived in Vung Tau, had lunch with sea view photos at Đồi Con Heo, ate Bánh Khọt at Cô Hai half-heartedly 🏡 Afternoon – Checked into SB Villa, took a nap by the pool and terrace 🍽 Dinner – Phú Long Quán, either pigeon meat or terrace BBQ 🍨 Dessert – A.Thành ice cream eating session 🎤 Night – Karaoke & chatting time ☕ Next morning – Breakfast + coffee, checked out slowly

📌 The location of the accommodation was really great

✔ An urban location close to Back Beach in Vung Tau
✔ Cafés, local restaurants and a park within about a five- to ten-minute walk
✔ The distance is comfortable even for elderly people to walk

💬 In conclusion, it was a perfect setup that made me think, 'Where else can I find such accommodation?'

✔ Private bedrooms and bathrooms, a pool, breakfast, barbecue and karaoke.
✔ The family could all stay comfortably, with their own space and the chance to laugh together
✔ What stood out was how happy we felt staying there, more than the value for money.

Travel preparation, accommodation connection, and restaurant recommendations were all perfectly concluded thanks to ITDANG!

Since they took care of everything based on the local situation, we could just focus on our trip. 😊
