A trip with colleagues at Scat Villa
The group spent time swimming and singing at the villa, with space to gather away from the office.
Working at a company, there are times when you really need a break with colleagues.
A place where you can rest without talking, and a place where you can laugh non-stop — that's exactly what the Scat Villa in Ho Chi Minh City District 2 offered!
🏡 The first impression was so good that I thought, 'Wow, this place is really top-notch.'
✔ Seven guest rooms and eight bathrooms, including five en-suite bathrooms
✔ All beds are king size → booking for a real good sleep
✔ The spacious living room naturally connects to the kitchen area
✔ Point interior designs with different atmospheres on each floor
✔ Warm lighting + modern furniture arrangement is really stylish
As soon as we arrived, I was sure of one thing: we could happily spend the whole three days and two nights right here.
🏊♂️ Private medium-to-large pool = paradise for water activities
✔ The pool size is really spacious
✔ Prepared with tubes and life jackets for the kids
✔ Perfect to eat snacks at the romantic table by the poolside
✔ Morning swimming, afternoon swimming, evening swimming – all OK!
The water was so clear and clean that I put on my slippers and went straight to the pool as soon as I woke up.
Swimming in the water with a gentle breeze – this is just pure relaxation.
🍖 BBQ is not a 'choice' but the 'right answer'
✔ If you request BBQ service, everything from charcoal to setup is prepared
✔ Meat, vegetables, and basic sauces are all taken care of
✔ Grilling and eating meat directly on the villa's terrace is the best taste!
✔ The routine of 'grilling outside, eating inside, and going back out' is the best
The sound of grilling meat + pool water + friends' laughter perfectly matched this evening.
🎤 A separate soundproofed karaoke room really set the mood.
✔ Wall LED lighting + mirror ball + premium sound system
✔ Powerful sound, and the karaoke echo was just right!
✔ It's an independent space, so there's absolutely no need to watch the surroundings
✔ There was even a sofa to stretch out on between songs.
That night someone said, “This feels more like our own concert hall than a karaoke room.”
The friend who finally put the microphone down one night was right back on it the next day, of course!
🛏 The room was quiet and cozy, so we could truly rest.

✔ Clean and sentimental lighting
✔ Soft bed + warm quilt → guaranteed good sleep
✔ The layout differs per floor, so even for a group there's no conflict in movement
On group trips it’s common to get tired of waiting for the bathroom. We didn’t have that problem here.
📌 How we spent our three days and two nights
DAY 1 Afternoon arrival → Check-in at Scat Villa, do some quick shopping at the mart (only 1-minute walk!)
Pool, snack bar and karaoke, then an evening barbecue, beers on the terrace and a second round of singing. 🎤
Day 2: a morning swim and brunch, then a ten-minute walk to a favourite lamb restaurant. In the afternoon we went for massages. We gathered around the table for late-night snacks and conversation, then held our third karaoke concert.
DAY 3 Woke up relaxed, packed the luggage, took one last photo at the pool area, and checked out 📸
📍 It's easy to access, so there's no burden of carrying luggage when coming over
✔ 35 minutes to the airport
✔ About 15 minutes / 30 minutes away from District 1 / District 7
✔ 1-minute walk to a supermarket / 5-minute walk to a large apartment complex area
✔ 10-minute walk → cafes, good places to eat, beef hotpot specialty shops, riverside walking paths
Taxi app can call it directly, so it's easy to move around and everything can be resolved immediately!
💬 Our verdict: a place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City that’s worth experiencing at least once.
✔ The accommodation itself is enough to complete the trip
✔ Optimized for group trips with friends or colleagues
✔ Since we could enjoy the villa alone, which has a karaoke room, pool, and BBQ, it's exactly what I meant when I said, 'We couldn't have rested like this if it weren't here.'
