What to check when repeating a three-night golf trip

The first thing that changes when you choose this trip is your mental state towards travel.

If you've already visited Ho Chi Minh City or done a golf tour there more than once, you might have this memory at least once.

The hotel wasn't bad, but the movement was inconvenient, and while golf was satisfactory, there were continuous additional costs on-site, and throughout the trip, I kept wondering "Was this included?" and ended up worrying about more things than expected.

Therefore, this itinerary is not a product that adds more things, but rather designed to reduce unnecessary judgments and worries during the trip.

The worries this package is designed to take off your mind

Worrying the transport might put the day behind schedule. Wondering whether an unexpected fee will come up on site. Arriving at the accommodation and finding it doesn’t look like the photos.

Instead, you will get a definite route, an organized schedule, and clear costs.

From the moment the trip begins, I start thinking not about 'Will I get back safely?' but 'How can I rest today?'

Does ITDANG feel more reasonable compared to other agencies with the question of 'Why?'

On a typical trip, sharing hotel rooms in pairs can split up the group. Pool villas may come with paid extras and service fees. Vehicle details may be withheld, or vehicles assigned at random. You may be limited to three or four lower-priced golf courses, and unexpected charges on the day can cause problems.
Also, the more intermediate steps there are, the higher the price becomes, and the responsibility becomes unclear.

ITDANG has a different structure.

At the time, the operator described a network of four directly operated pool villas, 12 branded villas and 53 partner villas. The offer specified a dedicated 16-seat Ford from model year 2023 onward, with optional upgrades, and a choice of golf courses across Ho Chi Minh City. Optional extras were to be priced in advance. The local registered travel company described this as its own product with no intermediary markup, end-to-end responsibility and a team based in Ho Chi Minh City for prompt support.

It wasn’t the value of a massage voucher or a KRW 5,000 freebie: the difference in the confirmed total worked out at KRW 100,000–150,000 per person.

What you gain is 'a leisure beyond golf.'

Golf is the purpose of this package, but not everything.

After the round ends, we move to the accommodation by private vehicle, and then have a rest time with the group in a private pool villa.

Because we don't disperse into individual rooms like a hotel, the atmosphere of the trip naturally continues inside the accommodation, and therefore, the time after golf stays longer in our memory.

When the accommodation changes, the quality of the trip definitely changes.

Basic (Single-operated pool villa Basic)

Country Villa: five bedrooms and five bathrooms, rooftop pool, minibar and snack bar, daily cleaning and a JBL Bluetooth speaker. The article listed check-in at 2 p.m. and checkout at 11 a.m. Location guidance may vary by itinerary.

Premium (Solo-operated Pool Villa Premium)

ITDANG’s second and third villas were listed in Thảo Điền and Bình Trưng Tây, District 2. The second listed seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, karaoke and a medium-to-large pool. The third listed six bedrooms, six bathrooms, karaoke and a lift.

As soon as you step inside, it feels like somewhere to recover from the day as well as somewhere to sleep.

Once the vehicle condition is confirmed, the trip will not be shaken.

Basic vehicle (based on photo)

Private vehicle: 16-seat Ford Transit (2023 model or later). Standard use: 10 hours / 100 km per day. Additional charges listed: VND 150,000 per extra hour and VND 10,000 per extra kilometre.

Vehicle upgrade, if needed (rates for a group of four)

Kia Carnival: add KRW 12,000 per person / KRW 48,000 total. Solati limousine van: add KRW 22,000 per person / KRW 88,000 total. Ford limousine van: add KRW 22,000 per person / KRW 88,000 total. Buses with 25–45 seats: enquire.

If the conditions are clear, there is almost no unnecessary emotional consumption on-site.

The golf course is not "select from several", but we choose from Ho Chi Minh City overall.

You can choose courses throughout the Ho Chi Minh City area, including Long Thanh, Twin Doves, Tan Son Nhat, Jeongsan and Song Be.

The green fee, caddie fee and cart fee are included.
Lunch inclusions may differ from one golf course to another.

The golf course may change depending on the tee time you prefer, and recommendations can be made according to the standard.

By distance: Tan Son Nhat, Thu Duc, Song Be, Dong Nai. By course preference: Twin Doves, Long Thanh, Tan Son Nhat, Jeongsan. Lunch was listed as included at Long Thanh, Twin Doves, Thu Duc and Tan Son Nhat, and on weekdays only at Jeongsan.

Knowing what is and isn’t included makes a trip easier to plan.

Common package inclusions: an exclusive-use pool villa (check-in at 14:00, check-out at 11:00), a private 16-seat Ford from model year 2023 onwards (10 hours and 100 km per day), golf (green, caddie and cart fees; lunch arrangements vary by course), airport pick-up and drop-off, and Korean-language assistance and operational support via messaging.

Exclusions common to the packages: villa minibar, cleaning and damage charges, among other items; extra distance or time for private vehicles; caddie tips (VND 400,000–500,000); arrival/departure fast track; personal meals, alcohol, shopping and insurance.

A 'tour' option is available for those who feel disappointed only playing golf.

Mui Ne sunset tour (based on the itinerary shown in the photo)

Travel time: Ho Chi Minh City → Phan Thiet → Mui Ne, approximately three hours. Jeep tour duration: four hours.

Itinerary (as is) 08:30 Departure from accommodation 11:00 Lunch

• Lobster noodle soup (bánh canh): VND 100,000–250,000 per person. 12:30 — Wine House.
• The original itinerary described Vietnam’s largest winery and a complimentary wine tasting. 2 p.m.: jeep tour, departing the wine house. 6:30 p.m.: dinner.
• Seafood dinner at a restaurant of your choice: about VND 1,500,000–2,000,000 for four. 20:00 — return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Private Mekong Tour (as per photo)

This tour experience follows the Mekong River through the 'Mitro' region, a vital artery of southern Vietnam, to experience local culture.

Itinerary as published: 09:00 depart from your accommodation. 11:00 board a private Mekong boat, with a coconut drink provided. 11:30 visit the honey farm and taste honey tea. 12:10 enjoy a traditional performance and sample fruit. 12:30 take a horse-drawn carriage or electric cart. 12:50 ride a rowing boat. 13:10 visit a coconut candy factory for a hands-on experience or visit a museum. 13:30 lunch and a doctor-fish experience, with dishes such as elephant ear fish and Vietnamese rice-paper rolls. 15:00 visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. 15:30 return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Guide (as is) Mekong Tour includes a Korean guide.
Shopping and tips are to be paid for separately. Tour course and location may vary slightly.

Premium Golf & Tour / Premium Tour (as per photo)

Premium Golf & Tour (four days, three nights, one golf round and one tour). This historical package included a four-hour jeep tour, the Wine House, a Korean-speaking guide and basic ATV use with one vehicle shared by two people. Extra ATVs, self-driving, facilities inside the theme park, lunch and dinner in Mui Ne, personal meals, alcohol, shopping and insurance were excluded.

Premium Tour (four days, three nights, two tours). The historical offer included a four-hour jeep tour, the Wine House, basic ATV use with one vehicle for two, and the Mekong tour with lunch. The Korean-speaking guide covered Mui Ne and the Mekong tour only. Extra ATVs, self-driving, the theme park, Mui Ne lunch and dinner and shopping, personal tips on the Mekong tour, personal meals, alcohol and insurance were extra.

Additional notes as listed at the time: no surcharge for the Mui Ne tour. Vehicle use after the Mekong tour could cost extra. Approximate travel time: three hours to Mui Ne and one hour forty minutes to the Mekong. An ITDANG Korean-speaking guide was included in that offer.
